As an outdoors man, I enjoy cooking when out in nature and especially using the Zebra Billy Can as its so versatile and robust. That said, I needed a tray to enable me to use the can on its side to turn into an oven. This is not a new idea, but i couldn't find a suitable tray out there, so I designed one for each size Billy Can.
The Billy Can Oven Tray is designed at a height to accommodate the steam tray and lid whilst in transit or storage, hence the reason why it is not the full depth of the can. When in use, slide the tray toward the opening.
Its made from high grade stainless steel for food grade and strength, and to prevent rust over time. All four size Billy cans can be used as well as the Swedish mess tin, and the oven tray can be used in other pots too of similar sizes.
To use: Simply insert the tray into the Billy can and cook over a small fire or a meths burner, keeping the lid secured. (Billy can to lay horizontally)
In some circumstances, The Billy Can Oven Tray may have slight manufacturing marks or sharp edges.
