This small reflector oven is a little more compact than my original design with the added feature of kebab stick slots. No hinge or pins needed to assemble, and flat packs down for travelling. Made from aluminium to keep the weight to a minimum whilst carrying to camp.(Only 1.3kg)
The Reflector oven is great for baking bread, cooking burgers and steaks and much much more.Even a whole chicken ! The food tray allows fat to drip off for a healthy camp meal, and also features holes for maximum heat transfer and egg cooking! The kebab slots are designed so you have to lift them up to turn them 180 degrease to get an even cooking heat, and stay in a rigid position.
If your fire is raised on a fire pit, The Reflector Oven has been designed with mounting holes in the two side plates to feed a stick through which is then suspended by two Y-sticks to obtain any height. The holes in the side plates are perfectly positioned for the centre of gravity to keep the oven slightly tilted forward once loaded with food, to achieve maximum heat circulation. The Reflector oven can also sit directly on the ground next to a ground fire.
